I’ll let Dietrich Bonhoeffer sum it up in a powerful extract from the book Ten Thoughts About Time, by Bodil Jönsson.
“In essence, optimism is not an evaluation of a given situation but a force. A force that enbles you to hope when others have resigned and gives you strength to endure dissappointments. A force that will not let go of the future and leave it in hands of the pessimists, but annexes it in the name of hope.”
- Dietrich Bonhoeffer while in incarceration in a concetration camp and waiting to be executed (1946-1945)

In theory this will help increase your ratings and popularity (doesn’t guarantee you’ll make more friends) in search engines – nothing quite like free publicity when it come to self promotion:

If anyone has experience with this, please let me know how you got on. I’ll also post again with how I get on in a couple of days.

In a ever changing digital world where visitors have diverse and different ways of managing communication with friends, family, work colleagues and business associates it has become more important to provide users of websites the ability to share their experience and information in a way suitable to their needs.
This can include through a blog (like I’m doing now), social networking sites, aggregating favorite lists (like Delicious to name just one), and good old fashion email.

A simple solution embed ‘+ Add This’ to website article pages, or other relevant pages – www.addthis.com.

Having dug out the old Lego bucket that I use to play with as a child, from my parents attic a few months ago I finally have time to build with my 3 year old son. Probably the same age I was when my parents gave the Lego to me.
While I carefully sort the bricks out by colour, shape and/or type (e.g. car parts, doors, windows) my son has no care for this at all and sticks pieces together completely at random – oh to have a childlike innocence again.
Anyway the main purpose of this post is to show off my new find… tum tum tum…
… a community and forum website completely dedicated to Lego sets, including vintage. Found several of my own, including space ships, ambulance, police and building. One step closer to reliving my youth!
